The Pharmacy Mainardi of Capurso (Bari) in the south of Italy has decided to robotise its warehouse both for the numerous logistical advantages that this entails and for having more time and space to dedicate to customer service.<\/p>\n

The Pharmathek robot installed is a white Sintesi model placed behind the prescription counter and enriched with glass shelves to be used for displaying products.<\/p>\n

On the other side of the robot there is the Pharmaload automatic loader which make warehouse loading activities extremely fast.<\/p>\n

Doctor Mainardi, what led you to decide to automate the warehouse of your pharmacy?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We began to evaluate the idea of robotising our pharmacy when renovating the funriture as we knew that the installation of an automated warehouse would allow us to recover useful space to dedicate to the sales area.<\/p>\n

In addition to this, we were interested in the many benefits it would bring to the pharmacy\u2019s management.<\/p>\n

What led you to rely on Pharmathek for the automation of your pharmacy?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We contacted two different suppliers and Pharmathek was the winner of the comparison. Not only for the technological characteristics of the robot, but also for the reliability of the company from the point of view of assistance.<\/p>\n

Not to be underestimated is the fact that there are many pharmacies in the region that have relied on Pharmathek and this is an excellent guarantee of the quality of the solution and the dependability of the company.<\/p>\n

One of the most appreciated advantages is certainly linked to the storage of products. Thanks to the automatic loader, placing the goods in the warehouse is now much easier and faster. Not to mention the management of products and related data: now we have a high degree of control over expiration dates and we are sure of whether or not a product is in stock.<\/p>\n

How did the customers react to the insertion of the robotic warehouse?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Customers showed great curiosity at the beginning, to the point that many asked us to go and see how the mechanical gripper moved inside the robot.<\/p>\n

Certainly its installation allowed to give an even more positive image to the pharmacy.<\/p>\n

Definitely yes.<\/p>\n
