The installation of two Pharmathek robots in the AFM Arezzo intermediate distribution warehouse was carried out for facing new activities and introducing new services. Activities that required more space, that Pharmathek contributed to create with a system that contains over 45,000 pieces for more than 3,000 references.<\/p>\n

The robots installed are characterized by a high rate of both technological and aesthetic customizations. In fact, the robots, in addition to being several meters high, are one white and one red, in order to mimic the colours of the company.<\/p>\n

AFM is the company that manages the 8 municipal pharmacies in Arezzo and an intermediate distribution warehouse.<\/p>\n

We cover the whole city of Arezzo with the pharmacies and the whole province with the warehouse.<\/p>\n

We have a claim for our pharmacies which is \u201cObjective wellness\u201d: the well-being of our citizens.<\/p>\n

Our warehouse used to be a totally manual warehouse. The decision to automate part of our outfitting with Pharmathek is due to a strategy to improve efficiency.<\/p>\n

Why did we choose Pharmathek? Because it gave us total integration with our management system and guarantees us efficiency and high quality.<\/p>\n

We decided to automate the warehouse because we wanted to implement new activities and new services but we needed more space. Therefore, the installation of a robot allowed us to to offer a higher capacity of evading big orders.<\/p>\n

This is because we stock in our Pharmathek robots over 45,000 pieces for over 3,000 references. It freed up space in the warehouse that we need for new services.<\/p>\n
