Pharmacy Centrale is located in the charming medieval village of Soave, in the province of Verona.<\/p>\n

Being a \u201cPharmacy of Services\u201d, automation has allowed the owners, Doctor Tessari and Doctor Martini, to take a further step in this direction. Now their customer is followed continuously from the beginning to the end of the service, which allows them to investigate his needs and to promote additional services.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the robot acts as focus point and expanded the pharmacy’s customer base.<\/p>\n

Doctor Martini, what led you to automate your pharmacy?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We decided to robotise our pharmacy because we felt the need to automate some internal processes, such as warehouse management, expiring dates, etc.<\/p>\n

We also wanted to deliver better overall quality to each customer.<\/p>\n

What led you to rely on Pharmathek for the automation of your pharmacy?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A great word of mouth that led me to hear good things about the company and the robot itself.<\/p>\n

How has work changed since you automated your pharmacy?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

It has changed 360 degrees. Both back office management, now much simpler and faster, and customer management at the counter have totally changed.<\/p>\n

While the robot delivers the products over the counter, we have a period of time that can be exploited to increase the profitability of the pharmacy thanks to a better and more effective presentation of the services that we offer.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the robot acts as focus point: not only because it allows us to improve the service but also for the technology itself. Customers are happily surprised and intrigued to see the products arrive \u201calone\u201d at the counter and we have to take guided tours in the back office from time to time to show them the robotic warehouse and how it works.<\/p>\n

Many pharmacists usually give the robot a name. Is this also the case in your pharmacy?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, my collaborators call it Giga, diminutive of giant.<\/p>\n
