Dr. Miguel García López, why did you decide to install a robot in your pharmacy?

We chose to automate the pharmacy to improve the service we offer to our patients. The goal is to delegate repetitive, low-value tasks to the robot, so we can free up more time to focus on people, better understand their needs, and, in the future, expand the range of services we provide.

 

What led you to choose Pharmathek?

I evaluated four different robot models, and the one that convinced me the most was Pharmathek’s — especially thanks to the features of the Pharmaload automatic loader. I find the ability to load boxes without having to insert them one by one much more efficient. I also wanted to automate the entire process of handling items, from receiving the order from the wholesaler to dispensing to the customer. In my opinion, Pharmaload is the best loader for this type of operation.

 

How has your work in the pharmacy changed since installing the robot?

Now we have more time and can focus on tasks that had been left on the back burner. The installation of the robot allows us to work more calmly, and those who previously handled the now-automated tasks can dedicate themselves to other important activities for the pharmacy.

 

Do you find the SINTESI robot easy to use?

Yes, absolutely. I can see that my staff appreciate the intuitiveness of the technology and carry out all operations with ease.

 

According to your staff, what is the most important function of SINTESI?

We all agree that the most important feature is having medications delivered directly to our workstations. The robot handles a wide range of products, and we’ve noticed a significant time saving. By staying at the counter instead of leaving to fetch the requested items, we can spend more time with patients, talk to them, and improve the service we provide.

 

What do you think of the Pharmaload automatic loader?

It’s a key element — a true point of distinction that other robot models don’t even come close to offering. And it works perfectly. It saves an incredible amount of time; it’s truly outstanding.

 

What’s your opinion on the Connected Exits?

I find them extremely helpful. In addition to avoiding overlaps or mistakes — like picking the wrong order — they also make organization much easier.

 

Based on your experience, would you recommend Pharmathek to your colleagues?

I’m very satisfied. I can say that the SINTESI robot has fully met all the expectations I had when I purchased it.
