Dr. Cristina Simonelli, why did you decide to install a robot in the Municipal Pharmacy?
We chose to install a robot to improve expiration-date management and minimize dispensing errors. This technology helps us optimize our daily operations, ensuring greater accuracy and safety in the service we provide to our customers.
How has work in the pharmacy changed since the robot was installed?
Our workflow has become much smoother. With SINTESI retrieving products quickly and automatically, pharmacists no longer need to search for items manually. This significantly reduces customer wait times and boosts overall team efficiency.
Do you find the SINTESI robot easy to use?
Yes, I believe SINTESI is quite user-friendly. Everyone on the team can interact with the system to varying degrees. The 22-inch touchscreen and intuitive interface make the experience very accessible, which really simplifies day-to-day operations.
In your team’s opinion, what is SINTESI’s most valuable function?
Without a doubt, its expiration-date management. The ability to automatically monitor expiry dates is crucial for patient safety and for avoiding dispensing errors. With SINTESI, we can be confident that expired products are removed in time, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Why did you decide to place the robot on the upper level?
We chose to install the robot upstairs to free up space on the ground floor for retail and services. This allowed us to create a more open, welcoming environment for our clients, with more space dedicated to displays and customer care. By separating stock management from the sales area, we’ve greatly improved the pharmacy’s overall functionality and layout.
What do you think of the Pharmaload automatic loader?
Pharmaload is very easy to use. Its simplicity allows us to load items quickly and efficiently, without complications.
Based on your experience, would you recommend Pharmathek to other pharmacists?
Absolutely! I highly recommend Pharmathek for their excellent support and availability. Their quick response to any issues and the quality of their service helped us integrate the technology successfully, improving both our efficiency and quality of work.
Some pharmacists say they’ve given their robot a name. Have you done the same?
Yes, we call ours GINO! We involved our customers in a vote to choose the name, and GINO came out on top. Naming the robot has made it more than just a tool; it’s become a familiar and engaging presence for our clientele, creating a sense of connection and community.
