The Pharmacy Show 2026: The Art of Integration comes to the UK
When it comes to pharmacy automation, technology is only part of the story.
At Pharmathek, innovation means creating solutions that integrate seamlessly with people, spaces and pharmacy workflows. It means designing technology that supports pharmacists rather than replacing them, making everyday tasks easier and giving pharmacy teams more time to focus on patients.
This is the philosophy behind The Art of Integration, the concept accompanying Pharmathek at its 2026 trade shows and now coming to the UK for The Pharmacy Show 2026, taking place on 11–12 October at the NEC Birmingham.
Together with our local partner Avonnex, Pharmathek will showcase an ecosystem of solutions designed to demonstrate how automation can become an integral part of the modern pharmacy.
Technology, design and art: visit us at Stand C50
Integration is an art because every pharmacy has different needs, spaces and goals.
That is why effective automation should not require a pharmacy to adapt to the technology. Instead, it should be designed to fit naturally into the pharmacy’s existing organisation and workflows.
This principle is at the heart of the Pharmathek approach: creating solutions that combine operational efficiency, the pharmacist’s experience and quality of patient care.
The Art of Integration is also expressed through design.
The centrepiece of Stand C50 will be SINTESI, Pharmathek’s pharmacy dispensing robot, designed to optimise medicine storage and management, reduce manual tasks and support pharmacy teams in their everyday work.
At the show, visitors will have the opportunity to see a special version of SINTESI featuring an artistic design inspired by cheetahs — a symbol of speed, precision and agility.
The installation embodies the philosophy behind SINTESI d’Art, the Pharmathek project that transforms the robot into a distinctive feature of the pharmacy environment, demonstrating how technology and creativity can coexist in the same space.

QuickPick24 and QuickAir: an integrated ecosystem
Alongside SINTESI, visitors to Stand C50 will be able to discover two solutions designed to make medicine management and dispensing workflows even more seamless:
- QuickPick24, the automated collection system that enables patients to collect their orders independently, giving pharmacies greater flexibility while helping them manage workflows more efficiently;
- QuickAir, the pneumatic transport system that connects the robot to different dispensing points within the pharmacy, delivering medicines where they are needed and helping make better use of the available space.
Different solutions, one shared goal: helping pharmacy teams spend more time on higher-value activities while improving both operational efficiency and the patient experience.

Pharmathek and Avonnex: Italian technology for the UK pharmacy market
Pharmathek’s participation in The Pharmacy Show 2026 confirms the company’s commitment to the international market and, in particular, to the UK, where digitalisation and the evolving role of community pharmacy are creating new opportunities for automation.
Through its partnership with Avonnex, UK pharmacy professionals will have the opportunity to speak directly with an experienced team and discover how a pharmacy robot can be integrated into their own pharmacy, adapting to the available space, existing workflows and the specific goals of each pharmacy.
Because automation is not just about technology: it is about integrating people, processes and innovation.
