The chosen solution was Pharmathek’s SINTESI robot, a cutting-edge technology proven to reduce manual workload while increasing speed and accuracy in daily operations.

Tica Pharmacy is the second branch in the Dinamica Pharmacy network to automate its warehouse with Pharmathek. In this case, the SINTESI robot was equipped with the Pharmaload automatic loader and the exclusive Euclid3D gripper — the only gripper with integrated onboard storage.

Why did you decide to install a robot in the pharmacy?

With the arrival of the new ownership, it became clear that we needed to make both counter service and stock management more efficient. Installing a robot was seen as the right solution to streamline these processes, reduce the manual workload, and improve speed and accuracy in daily operations.

 

What led you to choose Pharmathek?

Our decision was influenced by our direct relationship with Area Manager Domenico Agosta and the company Th.Kohl. Their strong reputation in the industry and the support they provided reassured us about the quality and reliability of the robotic system, making us feel confident in our choice.

 

How has work in the pharmacy changed since the robot was installed?

Work has become significantly less demanding, especially when it comes to managing expiry dates. With the robot, we now have more accurate and automated stock control, reducing the risk of errors and ensuring that expiry dates are always monitored and handled correctly.

 

Do you find the SINTESI robot easy to use?

Yes, absolutely. The SINTESI robot is very easy to use thanks to its highly intuitive interface. Even staff with limited experience using technology are able to operate it without any particular difficulties.

 

In your opinion, what is SINTESI’s most important function?

Definitely the management of expired medications. With SINTESI, we can monitor inventory in real time and ensure that expired products are quickly identified and removed, improving both safety and overall efficiency.

 

What do you think of the Pharmaload automatic loader?

It works extremely well. Pharmaload is a great help because it significantly reduces the time needed to load stock. This allows me to focus on other tasks in the pharmacy at the same time, improving daily organization and efficiency.

 

Based on your experience, would you recommend Pharmathek to other pharmacies?

Both we and our pharmacist colleagues would absolutely recommend SINTESI. Its reliability and the efficiency it brings to inventory and expiry-date management make it an essential tool.
